Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Are you right on Canim Lake?
A. Yes. Our entire resort fronts on to the Canim Lake shore. Every one of our cabins is right on the waterfront, with the exception of Cabin 11 which is set back slightly from the lakeshore.

Q. Do you rent boats?
A. Yes. We have fishing boats, a pontoon boat for leisurely lake cruising, canoes, paddle boats...everything you'll need to enjoy your time on the lake!
Q. Do you allow pets?
A. Yes. We ask that they be kept on a leash. The pet owner is of course responsible for clean-up. There is a charge of $5/day per pet in the campsite, and $8/day per pet in the cabins.
Q. Can we put extra people in the cabins?
A. No. Each cabin has a maximum number of people allowed, and we ask that you adhere to the listed maximum for the cabin. Our cabins range from a small studio for 2 people, right up to a large 3 bedroom accommodating 8 people.
Q. Are the cabin kitchens really fully equipped?
A. Yes. We provide dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, electric coffee pot and filters, toaster, tea pot and dish soap. We do not supply salt and pepper.
Q. What do we need to bring when we stay in a cabin?
A. Top bedding and towels. We supply bottom sheets and pillows with pillow cases on the beds.
Q. Do you have bar-b-ques available?
A. No. You are welcome to bring your own though. Enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of Canim Lake while you cook your dinner on the covered deck of your cabin.
Q. Do you have fire wood available?
A. Yes. Split, dry, firewood is available for purchase.
Q. When is the best fishing time in Canim Lake?
A. Hmmm. That's a tough one. Typically the best rainbow fishing is during the month of June, but it depends a lot on the weather. The last weeks of May can also be good, as well as into July, once again depending on the weather. Our lake is very deep so the Rainbow fishing happens to be great right from the shore in front of the cabins!. Our huge Lake trout, as well as Kokanee, are not nearly as fussy and can be caught throughout the season.
